Local Houston startup Berggi, a startup developing mobile messaging services for cell phones, raised $9 million in venture funding from Avanzit and Adara Ventures reports Texas TechPulse. Berggi is a tenant of the Houston Technology Center. There current product, BerggiMail is a “Blackberry-like” email application for mobile phones currently marketed towards women.
