“Web-based offerings such as AjaxWrite, gOffice, iNetOffice, SimDesk, ThinkFree, wikiCalc, or other small projects competing with individual applications, can also provide an alternative to Microsoft Office system products.”
For those of you not familiar with Simdesk, their on-demand services act like a virtual desktop for mobile computing. They launched here in Houston back in 2001 and have a strong relationship with HP. Just earlier this year, they launched SimMobile targeted towards smart phone users.
Its always nice to see when Goliath notices that David is out there, even if he is powerless to stop him.
