Advologix on the Docket

Yesterday I had lunch with Paul Deschenes and Jonathan Reed from Advologix out near their offices in Sugar Land. Advologix is a software development group that is building several “software as a service” (SaaS) applications. Their most advanced product that should hit the market within the next month is AdvologixPM, a comprehensive legal practice management solution.

Their current focus is on completing Q&A on the AdvologixPM application before officially launching. I was able to get a demo from Paul’s iPhone and was impressed with the functionality and design. Think of the product as a NetSuite or Salesforce.com for law firms. Although there are many software applications targeted towards this space, this is the first Saas in this space that I have come across.

According to management, the company is within days of closing on their first angel round of investment.
