Fortune Small Business recently came out with their list of the top colleges for Entrepreneurship and the only Houston college mentioned was University of Texas @ Houston. I mean, really, does anyone know why they would not name Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management or University of Houston’s Bauer Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation? They are both very active in providing entrepreneurial programs, in promoting entrepreneurial efforts, and have been recognized nationally for the work they have done. I really think this is a bad case of marketing on Houston’s part and hopefully the PR groups for both universities will be giving Fortune a call.
