I’m not sure what sparked this but the writers at Forbes have come to realize what we’ve known for some time. Besides being a Top 10 Up-And-Coming Tech City, Houston has topped the list of Best Cities to Buy a Home. What jumped out at me while reading this was the following statement:
“Well known as an energy industry hub, this growing metro area recently made Forbes.com’s Top 10 Up-And-Coming Tech Cities thanks to the Houston Technology Center and bubbling entrepreneurial tech scene.”
I wonder what they could be referring to when they say “bubbling entrepreneurial tech scene?” Any one have an idea?

Hey, didn’t we all already know this
No matter how much they talk about diversification, high energy prices are always good in the Bayou City!
It’s about time Houston was shown some love. I have lived in this city for 20+ yrs and anyone who is a Houstonian knows what I mean when I say that Houston has always been the step-child of the US’s big cities. We’ve had the best market for homes for the last 15 years, but since we are not LA, San Fran, Chicago or some mid-size mid-west city like Kansas City, we get no respect.
I’m been to a lot of places around the world and Houston is still the place I want to call home….
